# Free to Play

Unlike most blockchain games, MAD SQUAD players can start playing the game **for free** without the need to pay for any heroes. All new players are rewarded with 5 brand new common heroes and one basic robot to have fun with.

Players do not need to invest any token in order to play and enjoy the game, they only need to invest their time and harvest the joy.
